Public Awareness and Prevention are pivotal in making Maryland a safer place to live and play. This is achieved through collaborative efforts with numerous national, state, and local partners involved in applying critical elemetns for injury prevention across all age groups. From installing car seats for our children to providing information to preventing falls amongst the elderly, every generation benefits from informed practices. By creating and disseminating educational programs, public service announcements, posters, printed materials, and websites, we can prevent many injuries and ensure the public is better prepared to respond to injuries when they happen.
