At the 2024 Winterfest EMS Conference held on February 2nd - 4th, attendees were able to customize their experience. This years confrence offered eight different break out sessions to attend on Saturday. Medical and trauma topics were offered to allow participants to pick and choose what hours were needed towards completion of their recertification!
Winterfest EMS pre-conference highlighted the EMSC and the Maryland EMS Pediatric Champions who hosted a day full of hands-on scenarios and simulations focused on pediatric trauma. Participants were able to refine assessment skills for the pediatric trauma patient at Chesapeake College's state-of-the-art EMS SIM lab. Particpants were able to work through varying types of trauma in five realistic scenarios. This workshop welcomed clinicians of all levels.
