2023 Shock Trauma Center Hero Award Nominations

Each year, the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center (RACSTC) Hero Award is presented to a group of individuals whose efforts in saving lives exemplifies the very best of the elite Maryland EMS & Trauma System. Individuals honored include, but are not limited to, EMS clinicians, 9-1-1 operators, and RACSTC staff. Through December 1, 2022, RACSTC is seeking Hero Award nominations that spotlight stories of survival that can be attributed to response time, care received in the field, and treatment by RACSTC. Cases involving inter-hospital transfers will also be considered. The nomination form is available online via the MIEMSS homepage. Nominations may be faxed (410-328-3805) or emailed (crivers@umm.edu), or send to:
